Why Weatherize Your Home?
For those of us who live in a cold climate, you'd think we do what we can to our homes warm and wise use of our energy to keep during the winter months. Yes, you take.
A lot of extra work to their homes with storm windows to cover them to install, replace the weather stripping on doors, walls of their isolation, blow extra insulation to their attic, install a programmable thermostat and a one hundred-and energy-saving projects.

Apply a thick bead caulk to the window or door areas where real windows or doors will push against when closed. Place a long sheet of plastic wrap over caulking and then firmly close the window or door. Wait 12-24 hours and open a window or door and remove the swap plastics and viola, you have a perfect seal fit.
Overall, what I'm trying to say is that even when money was scarce, the little things as much as possible and be creative. The point is that you only spend more money or fuel.
A final option, and varies dramatically from state to state, is to see whether a local, regional or national programs to help you finance your home weatherization needs. Depending on your income, you may find you are eligible to work for free or inexpensive weatherization.
